| Marie Adele Krakora (nee Doleshek), 85, of Lake Forest, IL. Peacefully passed away on June 19, 2012 after a courageous three and a half year battle with cancer surrounded by her husband and her five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loretta E. and Raymond J. Doleshek, her brother, Richard J. Doleshek, and her daughter, Eileen A. Krakora. Born in Chicago in 1927, she was a graduate of Nazareth Academy and Rosary College (now Dominican University) 1949. The proud mother of six children, she later became the secretary at the School of St. Mary in Lake Forest. A long time member of the Guild of St. Mary, her greatest love was her family and up until recently, she could be found caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A loving wife, wonderful mother, and devoted Catholic she was deeply respected, loved and greatly admired by those who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph, her beloved children, Janice (John) Looby, Brian, Susan, Joseph and Kevin (Joanne); proud grandmother of 15; and great-grandmother of 2; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. In memory of Marie, donations would be welcomed by the Congregation of St. Joseph, 1515 W. Ogden Ave., LaGrange Park, IL 60526. Visitation 5-8 p.m., Friday, June 22 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave., Lake Forest. Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 23 at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest.
