Obituary for Robert Kleinert Jr.

Robert Kleinert Jr.
Husband of Pamela. Father of Robert (Rachel) Kleinert III, Kelsey Kleinert. Son of Bob (Ginny) Kleinert Sr., Brother of Scott (Wanda) Kleinert, Jill Rasmussen and Missy Kirby.
Bob was born on December 20, 1951 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He had a full life growing up with his brother and sisters in Lincoln, NE, Memphis, TN, Winnetka, IL, and Stamford, CT. He was a proud graduate of the University of Miami in 1974 where he served as social chairman and president of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Bob was a lifelong devoted and enthusiastic Miami Hurricanes football fan. He was serious about business and serious about fun.
When it came to business, Bob was an executive and long-range commuter for many years, working in many capacities at Dade, American Hospital Supply Corporation, Baxter, Microscan, Dade Behring, LifeStream, Beckman Coulter and MarketLab. He was an innovator in sales management and an integrator of acquisitions.
After retiring 4 years ago, Bob made Ft. Lauderdale a second home so he could improve his golf game during the cold Chicago winter months. He liked nothing better than to end his day after 18 holes with a Blanton’s bourbon and ginger ale while listening to music on the patio.
He leaves behind the love of his life and college sweetheart after 42 years of marriage. He was a loving husband and an adored father, a faithful and generous friend to many. He will be forever missed.
