Condolence: We offer prayers and condolences to Chuck's family. His inspirational character and innovation will continue to be reflected in the lives he touched. May his family find peace and comfort in fond memories.
The Maryville alumni received the sad news that Chuck Walsh (86) died Monday, June 4, 2018. Chuck was a member of the Maryville family from 1940 to 1949 (he left Maryville Academy in 1949 as a junior in High School).
Chuck shared his Maryville Academy’s youthful experiences with us and continued his lifelong ties to the youth of Maryville as a successful businessman. Chuck served as Chairman of the Chuck Wagon and was very helpful in bringing the Maryville kids to the White Sox games. Maryville Academy has now just lost an extraordinary leader from the school who had high principles and innovational ideas. His friendship with Maryville Academy epitomizes the essence of what made Maryville Academy so great for so many of us.
Chuck was a man who recognized the blessings of his life. We now pray that Chuck’s spirit is resting in the palm of God’s hand and is experiencing the peace we can only imagine as he is viewing the Beatific Vision. As members of the Maryville family, please remember Chuck and his family in your prayers that the Lord will give his family comfort to guide them through this sad time in their lives.
My condolences to you and your family. He will be missed here on Earth. I hope your memories of him will give you strength and that you will find peace knowing that he lives on in your hearts forever.
